Play the Informatist demo

Informatist is a free business simulation for high school classrooms. In this demo you run a company for 4–8 rounds against four AI rival companies — a cost leader, a premium differentiator, a price warrior, and a passive incumbent — and they explain every move they make.

How a round works

• Each round is one business quarter. You set five things: price, production, marketing, R&D, and new capacity.
• A live forecast estimates your sales, market share, and profit before you commit — then the market decides, and you compare forecast to reality.
• After every round, your rivals state the reasoning behind their prices and investments. The final screen shows exactly what separated you from the winner.

What it costs and what it collects

Nothing and nothing: the demo is free, with no signup, no student accounts, no downloads, and no tracking. A game is one anonymous browser session that expires within 24 hours. It runs on managed school Chromebooks. A full game takes about 5 minutes (4 rounds) to 12 minutes (8 rounds).
