What this is

Informatist is a free, browser-based business simulation used in high-school economics, personal finance, entrepreneurship, and CTE classes. Students run a virtual company against AI-driven rival companies. It is founder-funded and ad-free; the classroom program is permanently free for teachers and students.

Student data

• No student accounts, no student email addresses, no names — there is nothing to sign up for.
• No personally identifiable information is collected from students. A game is identified only by a random anonymous session key; game decisions (price, production, and similar numbers) are sent to our server solely to run the simulation.
• Sessions expire automatically and are then deleted — within 24 hours for single-player games, within 7 days for classroom game rooms.
• Student data is not sold and not shared — there is none to sell.
• The only place any email is ever entered is an optional teacher-facing classroom beta signup form, filled in by the teacher.
